UBCC Announces Enhancements to their 940 and 941 Self-Directed eFile
February 19, 2008 – Taos, New Mexico - Universal Business Computing Company (UBCC), designs and creates software for payroll service bureaus, public accountants, and commercial enterprises with large transaction volumes representing some of the most demanding payroll and accounting needs, announces enhancements to their self-directed 940 and 941 eFile program module of their payroll service bureau programs.
Self-Directed 940 and 941 eFile allows users to electronically file the 940 and 941 Federal Tax returns directly with the IRS instead of through third party consolidators who charge substantial fees. Enhancements added to their program allow the service bureau to now upload to the IRS site all employer 940s or 941s in a single batch. UBCC designed the software to allow the service bureau to become the filer resulting in a substantial savings in filing fees for the service bureau. “At $3-$5 savings per return, service bureaus are immediately going to realize cost savings of many thousands of dollars per year," said Ken Garen, President of UBCC.
