Tyler Technologies Signs Contract to Provide Odyssey Courts System for Nueces County, TX

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL - News) announced today that it has signed a contract to implement its Odyssey court case management system in Nueces County, Texas. Odyssey is Tyler's new generation Web-based court management solution for the state and local government market.

Nueces County is a member of the Texas Conference of Urban Counties (Urban Counties) and will adopt the Odyssey system under the $12.4 million software license agreement signed last year between Tyler and the Urban Counties. Under this latest agreement, which is valued at approximately $2.5 million, Nueces County has separately contracted with Tyler for implementation and other professional services.

"We are looking forward to updating our courts technology with Tyler Technologies' Odyssey software," commented Samuel L. Neal, Jr., Nueces County Judge. "Tyler's reputation with governments throughout the state of Texas and across the nation is impressive, and we are excited about the opportunity to put their expertise to work to improve the operations of the courts in Nueces County."

Nueces County is located on Texas' Gulf Coast and has a population of more than 317,000, making it the 14th largest county in the state. The county seat and largest city is Corpus Christi. A center for tourism, Nueces County is home to Padre Island National Seashore and Mustang Island State Park, as well as the Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi.

Tyler Technologies Executive Vice President Dusty Womble stated, "We are pleased to welcome Nueces County as a new Tyler courts and justice client. Through our agreement with the Texas Conference of Urban Counties, as well as contracts with other counties, Odyssey is rapidly becoming the gold standard in courts systems in Texas, which is one of the largest and fastest growing markets in the nation."

Based in Dallas, Tyler Technologies is a leading provider of end-to-end information management solutions and services for local governments.
