Tyler Tech to Appraise New Orleans Site
Tyler Technologies Awarded $12 Million Contract to Reappraise Orleans Parish
DALLAS (AP) -- Tyler Technologies Inc., a provider of information management services for local government, said Monday its CLT Appraisal Services unit will conduct a complete reappraisal of property in New Orleans.
The contract is valued at $12 million. The deal is with the Parish of Orleans, which operates as a single merged government with the City of New Orleans.
The project will be completed in two phases over the next three years. During the next two years, Tyler Technologies will collect data for all real properties in the parish. In the second phase, Tyler Technologies will perform a reappraisal of the properties, establishing new market values by mid-2010, followed by informal reviews with property owners to create a final assessment by late 2010.
