Kintera, in Conjunction With Microsoft, Announces Social Constituent Relationship Management Roadshow
Eight-City Tour Highlights Social CRM on a Software as a Service Platform and Its Impact on Constituent Relationships, Fundraising Efforts
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 5, 2006--Kintera® Inc. (NASDAQ:KNTA - News), in conjunction with Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT - News), today announced an eight-city roadshow to educate organizations about how social constituent relationship management (CRM) on a software as a service platform can impact fundraising efforts and constituent relationships. As part of Microsoft's commitment to software as a service technology, the free educational seminars will enable organizations to learn how they can optimize their total relationship with donors and supporters. In addition, attendees will learn how donor knowledge can provide organizations with the data needed for meaningful, personal communications.
Kintera's social CRM system -- launched at the 2006 Association for Fundraising Professionals Conference in early April -- enables organizations to drive all interactions based on comprehensive knowledge of constituents, and provides a single, interactive system to manage relationships. Uniting constituents' online and offline experiences into one database, Kintera's social CRM system provides nonprofits and constituents with a total view of the constituent's relationship with the organization. The system provides nonprofits with critical data needed to build relationships with donors, members, prospects, participants and volunteers.
Held at Microsoft facilities throughout the country, the social CRM roadshow kicks off July 10, 2006 and will visit the following cities:
Boston New York Washington Chicago San Diego Los Angeles San Francisco Atlanta The roadshow will feature industry expert David Lawson, general manager of donor management for Kintera. Lawson is a nationally recognized speaker at nonprofit seminars and conferences, co-founder of the WOW! Institute and founder of P!N. In addition, Lawson is a CASE Steuben Apple Award recipient.
"By providing organizations with a holistic view of their constituent relationships, Kintera's social CRM system enables nonprofits to provide constituents with a better, more personalized experience with their organization," said Lawson. "In addition, the system's interactive platform is both donor and staff-facing, enabling donors to become more active participants in their relationship with the organization."
