Data Browser – The cornerstone of ALERE v4.1 is the groundbreaking new Data Browser, which provides an unprecedented gateway to the ALERE accounting data. Here are just a few of its advanced capabilities.

•Persistence keeps the browser displayed on the screen while you drag and drop the records that you would like to see

•Directly access all related information for an item in the browser, regardless of where it is located in ALERE, simply by right clicking on it.

•Advanced searches can be performed using any combination of multiple criteria, including searching within strings of text.

•User customization of column order, initial search field, number of lines in the grid, columns widths, etc. is easy and does not require any coding.

Advanced/Easy Budgeting – Combining a stand alone internal budgeting package with integrated Excel® functionality, the ALERE Budgeting system is designed to meet the needs of the full range of budgeting requirements. Create, save and use multiple budget variations to track your company’s performance.

Future Inventory Activity – Now you can view future inventory activity and foresee where sales orders will be placing demands on items in inventory. This handy tool makes it possible for you to assess the open purchase and manufacturing work orders that are restocking inventory to determine if the required items will be available in a timely manner. Save time hunting for information by double clicking on the activity to drill down to the actual sales order, purchase order, inventory item or location.

Geographic Sales Hot Spots – The new Location of Sales report enables you to pinpoint your company’s critical sales hot spots. This report, which can be ordered by sales, distance or company, will rank geographic areas based on their sales volume. Just enter any zip code and set a radius to see the sales volume for that area.
