ISS Releases Construction Manager Version 6
GREENVILLE, SC, January 7, 2005—Industry Specific Software, Inc. has released Version 6 of its highly successful and innovative ISS Construction Manager software. ISS Construction Manager is a fully integrated accounting/job management package offering support for multiple companies and divisions (departments) that can be run on a single computer or in a network environment. The basic package provides: general ledger, job management, sub-contractor management, accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Banking – In addition to traditional banking functions, new features include lien waivers, electronic payment, recurring bank drafts, direct deposit, and funds transfer.
• Job Management – New tools now available are time/material billing and job billing capabilities.
• Utility Functions – Additional display options have been added, as well as system log, financial calculators, data backup/restore, and web links.
ISS Construction Manager Version 6 is based on the SQL Server Platform (not required). This release includes the new Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) which is a scaled-down version of SQL Server designed for single user computer or network with an average of 5 or less simultaneous users. For people who need a stable heavy duty, networking configuration, this provides a seamless migration path to SQL Server because ISS Construction manager will run under SQL Server with no modifications required.
