Foundation Software Announces Development Plans for Designing a CPA Audit/Review Module During the CONEXPO/CON-AGC Conference

Add-on module to facilitate the audit/review process, helping contractors and their CPAs

March 16, 2005 Cleveland - For Immediate Release: Foundation Software, a national developer of construction accounting systems, announced plans at the 2005 CONEXPO/CON-AGC Conference in Las Vegas to develop a CPA Audit/Review Module that would compliment their FOUNDATION for Windows construction accounting software program. Foundation Software will work jointly with various construction-focused CPA firms to design this unique add-on.

The purpose of this module is to facilitate the audit/review process. A typical audit/review requires a multitude of reports and detailed transaction records to be gathered. CPAs may experience difficulties extracting this information from computerized systems, as they are not always familiar with the software used. And contractors may not know what the CPA needs. This can lead to many errors and inefficiency.

“After speaking with thousands of contractors and their CPA firms over the years, a common request has been for a quick and accurate method to gather the necessary information easily from a client’s accounting software,” commented Fred Ode, Foundation Software’s CEO/Chairman. Foundation Software will now address these needs with the following offerings:

· Phase One: CPA Audit/Review Guide (Scheduled Summer Release)
Foundation Software will author an Audit/Review Guide specifically for their FOUNDATION for Windows construction accounting and job costing software program. This guide will provide CPAs with an in-depth understanding of the software and how to extract information needed in the audit/review process.

· Phase Two: CPA Audit/Review Program (Scheduled Fall Release)
The Foundation Software research and development team will design an add-on module exclusively dedicated to the audit/review process. All documents and reports necessary for an audit/review will be accessible through a centralized “CPA Console.”
