RLA President reaffirms commitment to source code availability

RLA president, John Rennie, reaffirmed his company’s commitment to delivering the source code for each Assist 2K installation. Assist 2K is one of the few accounting software applications that have continued to deliver the source code with each new installation. Source code is included at no additional charge.

Source code possession allows the clients to control their migration path. It prevents clients from being forced to upgrade to unwanted releases. It eliminates the threat of discontinued vendor support for older products, since the client can seek support from a worldwide group of independent analysts. It enables the client to fine tune and enhance their Assist 2K accounting software via RLA staff, their own in-house staff or any independent analyst. They do not have to wait for a committee to determine if their needs will be included in the next software release.
