FOUNDATIONÒ for WindowsÒ DataGenie Series receives 2003 Editor’s Choice Award as top technology offering

January 20, 2004 Cleveland - For Immediate Release: Cleveland-based software developer Foundation Software recently received the Construction Executive magazine 2003 Editor’s Choice Award. This award honored the top construction industry products in 2003 —the cream of the crop for this year’s technology offerings.

The DataGenie Series consists of built-in modules that include report designers, form designers and utilities for use with the FOUNDATION for Windows construction accounting system. The Genies simplify the MicrosoftÒ SQL technology of FOUNDATION, eliminating the need for knowledge of complex SQL computer code and enabling even the novice user to create custom reports and forms.

For example, the patent-pending DataGenie report writers use an innovative “data capsule technology” that allows the user to simply drag and drop on-screen graphics that represent hundreds of pre-defined segments of data. This gives the user total design control while allowing them to easily retrieve the precise information needed for the report.
