Bidtek has changed its name to Viewpoint Construction Software

The construction software professionals at Bidtek have been providing information management solutions to leading construction firms since 1976. In May 2003, Bidtek changed its name to Viewpoint Construction Software.

Viewpoint’s President, Myrna Hostetler, announced the name change with a national marketing campaign to the construction industry. According to Ms. Hostetler ‘we adopted the Bidtek name in the early 1980’s to emphasize our unique product offering of integrated estimating and accounting software’. ‘However, that name placed so much emphasis on bidding, that many people didn’t understand our focus, which is integrated accounting, operations and project management software for the construction industry.
