MYOB US, Inc. takes #1 position in Macintosh Accounting Software Market
May 30, 2002 (Rockaway, NJ) MYOB US, Inc. has taken a commanding market lead in retail sales of Macintosh accounting software, having acquired a 54.4% market share in the category, ousting Intuit from this spot and out-performing CheckMark Software, Inc. and Aatrix Software, Inc.
MYOB attributes its leadership position in the Macintosh accounting category to favorable channel sales of its new entry-level business accounting product, MYOB FirstEdge, and to having been the first to market with a Mac OS X business management and accounting product, MYOB AccountEdge.
