New Feature to Benefit Mid-Market Manufacturers With Multiple Warehouses, Distribution Centers, Storage Facilities and/or Plant Locations

INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Made2Manage Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: MTMS - news), a leading provider of comprehensive enterprise business systems for mid-market manufacturers, today announced it is receiving positive feedback from customers using its new Multi-Site application. The new feature is currently in Beta testing with several U.S.-based customers and is providing these customers with a comprehensive new tool for multiple-site functionality. This new functionality allows for better execution across multiple operations and increased visibility into inventory, supply and demand, order costing and inventory valuation by facility.

The Multi-Site feature in Made2Manage helps manufacturers manage multiple finished good warehouses, distribution centers, storage facilities and/or manufacturing plants at geographically separate facilities. Keeping track of information by site location is accomplished by entering a unique identifier in the Multi-Site facility field. Data on quotes, sales orders, demand forecasts and safety stock, inventory, job orders, sub-assemblies, purchase orders, and shipping and receiving transactions can all be entered and stored by facility. Information on items/parts (including the bill of materials and routings) and calendar and capacity data within the Made2Manage Enterprise Business System can also be entered and stored by facility.

The new Multi-Site feature will be available to all customers later this year.
