Export to QuickBooks Feature is Released

DAYTON, OH October 15, 2001 RentRight Inc., a leading developer of property management software, today released a new add on feature to their software, that will allow users of their software to import data from RentRight rent collections easily into QuickBooks® Accounting Software.

RentRight is packed with features covering all aspects of property management. Now the over 8,000 users of the software will be able to have their income data collected in RentRight be seamlessly imported to QuickBooks.

William Murdock, a 3 year user of the RentRight Software stated that the new feature will save him about 20 hours per month. Previous to this new feature, he was entering all of tenant receipts into both software packages. " I was thrilled to learn of this new feature that will be a great time saver in my property management business. I own and manage 115 rental units and now I will have more time for the running of the business."

With this add-on module, users can export income and/or security deposit information into QuickBooks. As the data exports to QuickBooks, it will create customer Sales Receipts for each transaction. The data will be sorted in QuickBooks by property or owner based choices set up by the user. Security Deposits will be deposited into a liability account in QuickBooks, tenant income will be deposited to selected income accounts in QuickBooks.
