Made2Manage Systems Names New VP of Marketing

INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Made2Manage Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: MTMS - news), a leading provider of comprehensive enterprise business systems for mid-market manufacturers, today announces the appointment of Sam Amore to vice president of marketing. Amore will be responsible for all corporate and product marketing initiatives. His focus will include strategically aligning product marketing and product management, driving increased awareness, enhancing PR/analyst programs, helping to increase sales for Made2Manage and handling the company's international marketing initiatives in the U.K.

Amore joins Made2Manage after serving as the vice president of product marketing at Interliant, a leading global application services provider where he led Interliant's initiatives for various hosting solutions around large enterprise software products such as PeopleSoft and Oracle. He also was a founding partner in 1996 of reSOURCE PARTNER, one of the first application service providers (ASP) that specialized in large enterprise application hosting. ``From leadership roles in product marketing, product management, business development and sales, Sam brings a wealth of experience to his new position,'' says David B. Prior to Amore's tenure in technology businesses, he spent a number of years leading marketing initiatives for such well-known consumer product companies as Kimberly-Clark and Nabisco. Additionally, he spent several years working for Andersen LLP where he worked with closely held businesses in auditing and systems consulting. Amore holds an MBA in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
