Open Systems, Inc. and SmartLinc Announce New Partnership
Open Systems, Inc., a leading provider of business software for small- to medium-market businesses, announced the addition of SmartLinc, Inc. as a new Preferred Vendor. SmartLinc will soon be integrating Process Shipper, a web-based, scalable shipping solution, with both TRAVERSE and OSAS products from Open Systems. Process Shipper automates shipping and streamlines business processes to increase overall accuracy, eliminate double entry, and provide simplified access to shipment history.

Process Shipper supports all carriers from UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL, and Full Truck load carriers to regional carriers, local couriers, or a company’s own vehicle fleet. Because Process Shipper retrieves information directly from each carrier’s web services, negotiated carrier rates and surcharges are up-to-date and accurate.
Using “Best Way” (lowest cost) methods to select a carrier to reduce shipping costs, Process Shipper provides cost savings up to 20%. It can be deployed in a variety of configurations, from a desktop in a single location to an enterprise-wide deployment.
