BlackLine Systems CEO Named as Finalist in Two Categories for Prestigious Stevie® Awards for Women in Business

Annual honors recognize outstanding achievements of female executives, entrepreneurs

Calabasas, Calif. – Oct. 21, 2009 – BlackLine Systems CEO and founder Therese Tucker has been named a Finalist in two categories in The 6th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business:

· Fastest-Growing Company of the Year (run by a woman)
· Best Entrepreneur, Non-Services Business up to 100 Employees

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs and the companies they run – worldwide. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word “crowned,” The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards. More than 1,100 entries were submitted for consideration in 54 categories this year. Winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York on Friday, Nov. 13.

Under Tucker’s direction, BlackLine Systems has doubled in growth in each of the past two years. In that timeframe, the company also added many Fortune 1,000 companies to its client roster and has expanded internationally.

Finalists were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging.

Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award Winners from among the Finalists during final judging.
