BlackLine Systems Advances Australia Initiatives

U.S.-based financial software provider to co-chair session with Deloitte at CPA conference; BlackLine also to host 1st APAC region user group meeting

Calabasas, Calif. – April 15, 2009 – In one of its first public appearances since the company established operations in Sydney earlier this year, U.S.-based financial software provider BlackLine Systems will be co-chairing a session next week alongside partners from Deloitte at the Sydney and Melbourne events of the CPA Australia Financial Controllers Conference. BlackLine also is gearing up to host its inaugural APAC (Asia-Pacific) Region User Group Meeting.

At the annual industry conference, representatives from BlackLine and Deloitte will give a joint presentation entitled “Streamlining End-of-Month Reporting.” The two companies will offer finance and accounting department executives advice on how they can improve their financial reporting and close processes in a world where information requirements are increasingly becoming more stringent and resources are shrinking. Jeff Adler, CPA, Vice President and Product Expert, BlackLine, will lead the presentation in Sydney on Tuesday, April 21, at the Shangri-La Hotel and on Thursday, April 23, in Melbourne at the RACV City Club.

BlackLine will hold its regional user group meeting on Wednesday, April 22, at Wolfie’s Grille in Sydney. Finance and accounting department executives from client companies Kimberly-Clark Australia and OneSteel are expected to attend, as well as representatives from other BlackLine customers and partners.

BlackLine began operating out of Sydney in January of this year to better serve its APAC region customers.
