UBCC Announced Multiple Enhancements to Their Payroll and Accounting Technology
Auto-archiving feature dramatically increases efficiency
Dec 15, 2008 – Taos, New Mexico - Universal Business Computing Company (www.ubcc.com) announced multiple enhancements to their payroll and accounting technology including one-step auto-archiving program for all PDF and other year-sensitive files, an expanded PDF file naming capability, a multi-profile feature that allows for the creation of multiple profiles to automatically accommodate a variety of bank transactions and a major expansion of Vacation and Sick pay accruals.

UBCC's enhancements to their payroll and accounting technology includes:
eFile Cabinet One-Step Auto-Archiving: UBCC has engineered an auto-archive feature for their electronic file cabinet technology. The operator can move all files from a single year into an archived client file folder subdivided by appropriate categories. "This auto-archive feature makes the electronic filing process hugely efficient for the payroll or accounting professional and is a virtually effortless process at year end," said Garen. Operators have a one-year folder that can be subdivided by categories, which can then be burned to a CD. There are no extra fees charged by UBCC for this feature, which other vendors commonly bill at $75 per quarter of data for a single client.
PDF File Creation Naming Feature: Operators can now assign a longer name for a PDF file, which eliminates the cryptic naming factor, allowing the operator and client to easily recognize the content behind the file name.
Multiple Bank Activities Profiles: UBCC software now supports multiple profiles for importing various bank transaction activities. This allows the operator to define and automatically differentiate and sort deposits, credit memos, and ACH activities, separately.
Vacation and Sick Pay Accruals: UBCC has enhanced their payroll technology by expanding the vacation accruals from 5 to 20, and the sick pay accruals from 5 to 20. The operator can modify the description and accrual basis for each of the 40 fields for printed check, electronic pay stub and all reports. This allows for more detailed tracking of sick time, paid time off, management vacation, staff vacation, maternity leave, family leave, medical leave, personal days, and much more.
