BlackLine Systems Founder Named as Finalist in Two Categories for Prestigious Stevie® Awards for Women in Business

Annual Honors Recognize Outstanding Achievements of Female Executives, Entrepreneurs

Calabasas, Calif. – Nov. 17, 2008 – BlackLine Systems CEO and founder Therese Tucker has been named a Finalist in two categories in The 5th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business:

· Fastest-Growing Company of the Year (run by a woman)
· Best Entrepreneur, Non-Services Business up to 100 Employees

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs and the companies they run – worldwide. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word "crowned," The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world's premier business awards. More than 1,200 entries were submitted for consideration in 50 categories this year. Winners were announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York City on Friday, Nov. 14.
Under Tucker's direction, BlackLine Systems nearly tripled in growth in the past year and a half. In that timeframe, the company also added many household name companies to its client roster.

"Being named a Finalist in The Stevie Awards for Women in Business is an important achievement," said Michael Gallagher, president of the Stevie Awards. "It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of recognition."

Finalists were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging. Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs selected Stevie Award Winners from among the Finalists during final judging.
