Drake Software Vice President Recognized by National Tax Industry Publication

Franklin, NC (October 10, 2008) – Jamie Stiles, Drake Software's vice president of electronic filing and banking, was recently named by CPA Technology Advisor as one of the tax and accounting industry's top young professionals in its annual "40 Under 40" program. The program spotlights accounting and tax professionals, along with individuals involved in developing technology to support these fields, who exemplify the leadership qualities necessary for the profession's ongoing success.

Stiles oversees all electronic filing and bank product programming and processing for Drake Software. The company's CEO, Phil Drake, said, "Jamie is deserving of this honor. He is vital to our software business and has played a key role for almost 24 years." He is currently serving his second term as president of the National Association of Computerized Tax Processors (NACTP), an industry organization responsible for developing and promoting standards in tax processing. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in project management, both from Western Carolina University.

Jamie has been married to the former Tammy Ledford for 15 years. They have two children, Grant, who is almost nine and attends South Macon Elementary School, and Kellen, who is four and attends Trimont Christian Academy. Jamie and Tammy are both Franklin natives and graduated from Franklin High School, where Tammy now teaches. She is also currently recognized as the high school's Teacher of the Year. Jamie, in addition to being involved locally with coaching youth sports, has been a member of the local National Guard and served in the Gulf War in 1990 and 1991.
