We are Certified resellers for both products. Both can be modified by using applications offered by each company rather easily. This includes adding user defined fields, changing or adding screens, and adding tables.
Keep in mind that this will not effect your ability to install updates from the software vendor.
The choice for Manufacturing depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Both products are excellent yet both are different.
