i've got the same problem, and did exactly what you did. whether i create a custom field for job description for each job in the custome/job list under the additional info tab, or enter a description in the preexisting job description field of the job info tab, no description appears on the printed invoice. layout designer indicates that there is a data field for the newly created job description data field, but the description does not appear when the invoice is printed.
if anyone's got a solution, i too would be most grateful. peachkid@hotmail.com
