MAS200 does have two database containers, one being SQL, the other being an ODBC compliant b-trieve offshoot. There have been some major changes in database structure and technologies on the non-SQL side between version 3.7X & version 4.
That all being said, the easiest way to get external data into MAS200 from an outside app is using the Visual Integrator module. Other options include using an ODBC DSN, or GL exchange for financial information.
