May be I don't understand and the details may vary slightly with the QB version you have. The menu List is a top line menu with File Edit View List. You click on list, then the pull down go click on Customer & Vendor Profile List, That should give you another menu and you click on Customer Type lists and the Customer Type list window appears. You select the type you want to delete then you go to the Customer Type box on the bottom and click on it. That shows a new menu and delete should be one of them. You click on delete and you may get a message saying 'Are you Sure....' you click Yes and it should be deleted if it is not being used. If it is being used you can make it inactive. Inactive types will not display when you are in the customer additional info Customer Type pull down. You would have to change all the customer using any customer type that you really must deleted.
