I do realize there is no 'visible' place to enter the account numbers, but if you're noticing the messages at the bottom of the program screen, the program is 'acting' as if there were visible spaces to enter the account numbers. So, after you 'exclude inactive',
hit Enter (or Tab, depending on how you've set your preferences) TWICE...then enter your first account number, as though there IS, INDEED, a visible space to enter it.
(Be sure, though, if your account numbers have any DASHES (i.e. 4500-05) to enter the entire number including the dash)
Hit enter(or tab) once more, and then enter the ending account number, as though there is a visible space to enter it.
Hit enter (or tab) once more, and your range of account numbers should be set.
