I have this same problem, and never did find a fix....wish I could!
I noticed, however, that at the bottom of the screen, the messages shown imply the program *thinks* the boxes are there, and if you simply enter the information and then hit 'enter' as usual, you can still get the report to print with the GL numbers you wish.
So...when the cursor arrives at 'Exclude Inactive', The message at the bottom of the screen will read: " check if you don't want inactive accounts on the report"
Check or uncheck the box - hit enter.
Then the message at the bottom of the screen will read "Select to include a range of accounts on the report":
Hit enter
Then the message at the bottom of the screen will read: "Enter the beginning account number for your range"
Enter the first account number, hit enter
Then the message at the bottom of the screen will read: "enter the ending account number for your range"
Enter the ending account number , hit enter.
The report should then print with the range of account numbers that you entered.
