The code for the month is M1.N and for the year is M1.L - however, as Andrew indicates the code M1.D for the day will not display 2 digets for the 1st-9th of the month so you would have to have two specs, one of which will text in a zero before the day - you should consider an upgrade to newer software, either Accpac or Adagio perhaps - another alternative is PrintBoss for Accpac Plus www.wellspringsoftware.com if your only issue is the check format and you are not ready to upgrade
