Restarting the workstation fixes this problem usually, we get this error when a backup is running on the server (which hugs the system's memory I guess).

Which says to add accpac\runtime to the enviroment settings in windows:
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click System. On the Advanced tab, click on the Environment Variables button, create a new variable and put a name and the location where your accpac is installed.
