Create a journal entry using period 12 and all the accounts you want to have balances with total debits equal to total credits. Post the entry to the Previous Year and the balances will be brought forward to the Current Year. Of course, this is for Balance Sheet accounts only. Income and Expense accounts would be rolled into Retained Earnings during a Previous Year posting.
