Question
When I try to open my company I receive the message RT32W caused a GPF in module (unknown). How do I correct this?
Answer
To connect to the company try the following steps.
1. Delete the company's .log file.
The company .log file is located in the One Write Plus data folder which typically is c:\owpw\data\. If the file name of your company was COMPANY then the .log file would be named COMPANY.LOG. After deleting the .log file, try again to connect to the company.
If you still have the error, then do the following steps in order and try to open your company between each step.
2. Go to Start, Run and type in the following command:
rt32w -c2048 -f -d c:\owpw\data\company.db
(where c:\owpw\data is the datapath and company.db is the .db file for the company) Try to connect to the company.
3. Create a Test Company. Then go to the data directory. Select TEST.DB and delete it. Rename your company to TEST.db and try to connect to Test.
