Is this Accpac PLUS (DOS version), vintage approximately 1995? If so, the program require setting minimum numbers of "file handles" and "buffers" for MS-DOS. Instructions for calculating the appropriate numbers are in the program's "Windowing System Manager" and/or "LanPak" manuals. You do it by editing the file C:\CONFIG.SYS using your favourite text editor (such as NotePad). You might examine that file on your Win95 and 98 workstations. I presume (but don't know from experience) that the same settings will work for Windows 2000.
