One of the advertised features of QB 2003 Premier is that you can enter a sales order but it does not affect the financials until it is converted to an invoice. When I convert a sales order to an invoice, all of the details are correctly transfered. However, when creating the invoice, the "date" becomes the current date and the original date of the sales order is lost. When I send a customer the product along with the invoice, it needs to show the actual order date as well as teh invoice date. Does anyone know if the sales order date is retained whjen converting a sales order to an invoice? If so, how can I access it on the invoice?
