I need to add a job description to my invoices. The project field is the job name and unfortunately the job description field is not a displayable or printable option in custimization. I created a new custom field in the additional info tab and called it job description. I then entered the job description for each customer/job in this new field. I checked both display and print in the customize section of the invoice form under the fields tab and went to layout to make sure the field was large enough.
Now when I create an invoice for a customer the new field displays on the invoice entry screen with the entered data displayed; however, when the invoice is printed the field is blank. If you click in the field the information disappears and is not editable. If you then type new information in the field and then print the invoice this new information prints perfectly fine so it is not a font,color or size problem.
Any ideas or assistance would be appreciated.
