St. Louis County, Tyler Technologies to upgrade software system
Tyler Technologies Inc. said Tuesday that St. Louis County will purchase Tyler's MUNIS financial management software solution in a deal valued at more than $4.6 million. The agreement includes software licenses and professional implementation services, as well as ongoing support and maintenance that will replace St. Louis County's 25-year-old mainframe system, according to a release. Glenn Pearl, County Administrative Processing System (CAPS) implementation director for St. Louis County, said in a statement: "The St. Louis County CAPS program is focused on improving service to its constituents, making information more accessible, managing documents electronically and enhancing business processes as a whole. With Tyler's MUNIS solution, we believe we can achieve these goals."
St. Louis County, which has purchased Tyler's MUNIS financial and human resource applications, will also implement products such as Tyler Content Manager, MUNIS Self Service, MUNIS Work Orders and Tyler Cashiering to also help electronically manage documents.
