Maxwell Systems Adds Depth to Management Team


Maxwell Systems, Inc., a leading provider of construction business management software solutions and services, today announced the appointment of two members to its management team.
 
 
Maxwell Systems, Inc., a leading provider of construction business management software solutions and services, today announced the appointment of two members to its management team. Jere Richardson has been named the Vice President of Marketing and Tom Hickey will serve as the Vice President of Sales. Maxwell Systems expanded its management team to meet the increased demands for their estimating, job cost accounting, and project management solutions.

“With the additions of Jere and Tom to the Maxwell Systems family, we have more resources and expertise to meet the increased demand for our solutions and focus on the continued growth of the company,” said Jim Flynn, President and CEO of Maxwell Systems. “We can now increase our focus on sales and marketing efforts. Maxwell Systems will be better positioned to reach contractors who are searching for a true business partner that’s served their industry for more than three decades.”

As Vice President of Marketing for Maxwell Systems, Jere Richardson will be responsible for the planning and execution of all marketing and product initiatives and strategies. He will lead the product management and product marketing teams to help Maxwell Systems’ customers streamline processes and improve profitability.

Richardson has more than 18 years of experience in all facets of marketing and product management. Prior to joining Maxwell Systems, he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Alliances at Wire One Communications (formerly V-SPAN). While at Wire One, Richardson led the overall partner, marketing and product management efforts. During his tenure, he helped Wire One become a leader in the video conferencing space. Richardson has also held senior positions in marketing and sales with SingleShop Inc., Racal Recorders, InteliData Technologies Corporation, and Naviant Marketing Solutions. Richardson earned a BS in Political Science from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia.

Tom Hickey, Vice President of Sales, brings more than 25 years of sales and sales management experience to the Maxwell Systems team. His broad sales background consists of a variety of business sectors, including: shipping, data, software, and CRM solutions. He has built and managed sales forces for companies in all stages of growth—from startup through multi-billion dollar operations. Most recently, Hickey served as the Vice President of National Accounts at DHL, managing more than $500 million in annual sales.

Prior to his time at DHL, Hickey was the senior executive and P&L owner of American Consolidation Services, an APL Logistics Company. American Consolidation Services is based in Asia, and serves the North American and European markets.
