Axium Receives Award Recognition for Technical Communications and Marketing Campaign
March 5, 2007, Beaverton, Oregon Axium, a leading developer of integrated project management and accounting solutions for architectural and engineering firms, today announced that its Ajera software has earned a second award from the Society for Technical Communications (STC). In the 2004-2005 Competition, Ajera received the Excellence Award for its Help System (refer to press release "Axium's Ajera Software Wins Excellence Award" 1/17/2005) and now, the "What's New with Ajera 2.2 Reports" training tutorial has won the Award of Merit for Online Communication in the 2006-2007.
The STC Awards are comprised of three main competitions: Technical Publications Competition, Online Communication Competition, and Technical Art Competition. The interactive Online Communication Competition focused on entries that demonstrated or described the main features of a product or product line with user interaction or feedback. The online material is used to motivate people to buy or use a product or to inform them of the features or benefits of products.
"We are excited to receive this award because it validates our efforts in creating extensive help files and tutorials that provide interaction and true benefits for our clients," said Ilene Ingram, Axium Vice President of R&D.
Axium continues to develop innovative ways to help clients learn and understand the capabilities of Ajera so they can get the most from their software investment.
In addition, Axium was honored as one of five finalists for the American Marketing Association 2007 Marketing of Excellence Award for its "Invasion is Coming" campaign, promoting the release of its advanced project management and financial software, PORTFOLIO. The campaign utilized many mediums including direct mail, email, online advertising, PR, webinars and print advertising. The marketing efforts were not only recognized by the industry but also garnered an 8% increase in Axium's client base.
