The new release, which will be generally available in November 2006, features a broad range of enhanced capabilities and new features designed to offer companies heightened risk management while maintaining the superior ROI customers expect from AXS-One.

Risk management is mission-critical in a business environment where compliance is a top priority: changes to existing statutes such as the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure in the United States, set to go into effect on December 1, 2006, will require even greater alignment between the legal and IT functions. Functionality introduced in Version 3.5.5 includes:

Enhanced .PST management and File System Archiving: AXS-One's approach to .PST management and File System Archiving not only leverages high performance, workflow-based processing, allowing for flexible, repeatable processing, which reduces storage and operational overheads, it also provides an auditable chain of custody. This helps ensure the irrefutability of all managed files, a critical factor in the event of litigation.

Active Case Management: Extending the Case Management functionality currently available in the AXS-One Compliance Platform, Active Case Management allows users to create manageable case files that can be automatically updated to respond to ongoing investigations, audits or legal proceedings.

Extended Supervisory Review: To help companies implementing NASD 3010 Broker Dealer Supervisory Review policies, AXS-One Supervision has been enhanced to provide an even greater level of support for enterprise-level requirements. The enhancements address high-performance, scalability and ease-of-use requirements for a broad range of electronic communication supervision issues (in addition to addressing corporate wide risk management).

Usability Enhancements: AXS-One Compliance Platform 3.5.5 offers native GUI-based interfaces for e-mail administrators so they can administer the system within their most comfortable operating environments, namely MS Exchange and Lotus Notes.

Installation and monitoring have been significantly enhanced, providing rapid installation and additional pre-configuration for the most widely implemented functionality: e-mail archival, retention and case management. A new monitoring console also provides a single view of the running system, allowing administrators to set thresholds and notifications for system health parameters, and initiate specific actions on multiple components.

Pricing and Availability: The AXS-One Compliance Platform 3.5.5 is licensed according to the number of users supported, with scalable pricing reflecting the size of the organization.
