Shift Technologies Expands Project Management Capabilities in Its ThinMind Suite

New Features Facilitate Improved Project Collaboration and Communication

Charlotte, N.C. (March 20, 2006) Shift Technologies announced today the latest version of the Project Management application in its ThinMind suite of on-demand software solutions. ThinMind Project Management 6.1 is an integrated web-based administrative tracking solution that provides the ability to collect, track, and organize project management information at any level of the organization. ThinMind is a SaaS (software-as-a-service) product suite, and is designed for small to large businesses and specifically for the professional services market including the financial services, legal, and IT and business consulting industries.

A few of the many new features and functionality include:
· File Attachments ¾ Provides the ability for project managers to upload files and attach them to their related projects. Attachments can be created at the project or project task level to best organize information. Additional tools are provided to allow system administrators to set maximum file sizes and storage allocations.

· Detail Budget Allocations ¾ Allows project mangers to specify budget amounts by itemizing items such as time estimates, labor dollars, and expense dollars for the overall project. Reporting capabilities show budget versus estimates for each project. When using the ThinMind Expense and/or Timesheet modules, the user can determine budgets versus actuals to obtain a complete picture of the project’s financial position.

· Full Employee Collaboration ¾ Provides the ability for assigned resources to be actively involved in establishing and/or maintaining project task estimates, start/end dates, updates, attachments, and other task related information. New features, combined with the existing project notifications, allow full collaboration between project managers and resources; resulting in real-time project adjustments and communication.

· Billing/Costing Summaries ¾ Enhances existing flexible reporting capabilities with concise project billing and project costing statistic summaries. Allows project managers to quickly review billing and cost totals for any project or project/task. New report sections can be included with existing Project Status Reports.

· Improved Usability ¾ Includes a new menu structure for system administrators, which is significantly more concise and is quicker for browsers to download. As the functionality has expanded, the screen layouts have been adjusted to better group related information. The robust and flexible reporting associated with the project management module has been enhanced to provide additional selection and grouping options to take advantage of new feature sets.
