WIND2 SOFTWARE'S NEW INSTITUTE FOR PROJECT-DRIVEN BUSINESS OFFERS PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FIRMS AND GOVERNMENT CONTRACTORS A COMPETITIVE EDGE
Wind2 Software’s new training and conference center provides instruction (and CPE credits) on the use of software for project management, government contract management, and other programs critical to business success.
Fort Collins, CO, May 11, 2005 - Wind2 Software (www.Wind2.com) announced today the opening of the Wind2 Institute for Project-Driven Business. The state-of-the-art facility provides year-round opportunities for professionals working in project-driven businesses to learn how to use software programs critical to business success. Architects, engineers, environmental consultants, government contractors, financial managers, and others can earn continuing professional education (CPE) credits in this high-tech, mountain lodge-like setting.
“With 3,000 client firms in North America and a sterling reputation for customer service, our goal is to provide training that gives these professional services firms a leg up on the competition,” says David W. Marvin, president and CEO of Wind2 Software. “We have always provided hands-on training at customer locations and will continue to do so. The new facility gives clients an opportunity to visit Colorado and learn from the entire team of Wind2 business and software experts.”
The Wind2 Institute for Project-Driven Business already has a full curriculum of seminars scheduled for May and June 2005. New and existing Wind2 Software users will receive detailed training on basic and advanced features of software for project management, business accounting, government contracting, custom report writing, and winning commercial and government contracts. While the training and conference center can easily accommodate 40 seminar participants – providing each trainee with a computer and workspace designed for accelerated, experiential learning – some classes are limited to 15 students.
Located on the Front Range of Colorado, the Institute is surrounded by some of Colorado’s best outdoor recreational attractions (e.g., golf, whitewater river rafting, and downhill skiing), offering participants ample opportunity to balance professional pursuits with physical activity. An indoor exercise facility with weight-training equipment is also available. Wind2 customers can visit http://support.wind2.com for details on upcoming seminars. Others interested in using the Wind2 training facility can visit www.Wind2.com or call 800-779-4632.
Professionals attending Wind2 seminars can earn up to 30 CPE credits. Wind2 Software is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. All Wind2 seminars also meet the AIA/CES criteria for quality level 3. Continuing professional education (CPE) is required for CMAs and CFMs to maintain their certification and for CPAs to maintain active licenses.
