Laser Systems and Choice Technologies Form Alliance to Offer Tax Accountants a CHOICE!

San Diego, CA, April 16, 2002 – Laser Systems, Inc. publishers of the TaxWorks™ tax preparation software announces a joint development effort with Choice Technologies, Inc., publishers of the People’s Choice™ line of small business accounting solutions. The result provides accountants a complete suite of integrated accounting and tax products for the efficient preparation of their client’s tax returns.

The system is a customized version of People’s Choice Accounting and TaxWorks, linking the two systems for fast and easy transfer of data from the accounting system into the tax software, eliminating manual data entry. All Write-Up work is completed in the accounting program and financial statements are produced after adjustments are made. “This relationship gives our customers a powerful option for those who need to bridge their data from accounting to tax.” States Lyle Petersen, Vice President of Laser Systems, Inc.
