Our theme for Convergence 2012 is all about the expanse of possibilities each attendee has in the networking and learning interactions available at this conference. Throughout our four days together, you’ll find a wide variety of presentations and discussions, in both short and long form, that span the breadth of the Microsoft Dynamics family of products – and then some! Our tenured technology professionals are working hard to deliver sessions that help you develop the business skills, knowledge and connections that will make for an event experience rich with business value. From the start of the User Group meetings on Sunday, to the last and final breakout session on Wednesday evening, Convergence delivers you an abundance of opportunities to learn and share, and meet and network with peers, Microsoft team members, subject matter experts, valued partners, and technology leaders. Make sure your travel plans allow the time for you to maximize your participation from start to finish.
Sessions
Convergence attendees arrive from all corners of the world, all types of businesses and all levels of experience. With this broad of an attendee base comes a great responsibility – and we are up to that challenge! With seven different session types of content and eight different tracks that each of our sessions are sorted into, the prospect of new understanding for everyone dramatically expands and increases. To meet the needs of our attendees, you’ll find sessions hosted in a variety of styles:
Keynotes
General Sessions
Concurrent Sessions
Interactive Discussions
Deep Dive Sessions
Hands on Labs
New! Sponsor Sessions
User Group DayONE Activities
In addition, User Group DayONE activities provide you the chance to learn more about the specific User Group communities for Microsoft Dynamics GP (GPUG), Microsoft Dynamics AX (AXUG), Microsoft Dynamics NAV (NAVUG), Microsoft Dynamics CRM (CRMUG), and Microsoft Dynamics SL. Offering a more relaxed and personal way to network and build relationships with other users on Sunday, March 18, we invite you to join in product-specific educational breakout sessions, Special Interest Groups and other topical Roundtable Discussions with those that have faced the same types of issues. Take part in Conduit sessions, where you can give the Microsoft Dynamics Research & Development team direct feedback about your specific solution and related functionality. Meet someone new, gain new contacts, and take the time to informally chat with folks that develop and support the Microsoft Dynamics product! You DO NOT need to be a User Group member to attend DayONE activities. Visit the Dynamic Communities website to learn more about the User Group DayOne activities for GPUG, AXUG, NAVUG and CRMUG.
Tracks
When you’re ready to dig into the proposed sessions, published within the Session Catalog, you’ll find that each session is tagged to a ‘track’. For most of the tracks, think of this term as a family – which family of products does the session belong to? If, for example, your organization utilizes Microsoft Dynamics GP and you want to stay close to home, then you’ll want to search under the Microsoft Dynamics GP track. But don’t stop there; we have even more learning opportunities available—something for everyone--spread out over our eight different tracks:
Microsoft Dynamics AX
Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Microsoft Dynamics GP
Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Microsoft Dynamics SL
Cross Product
Microsoft Office
Business Leadership
