Communications Service Provider Achieves Better Visibility and Improved Data Accuracy of Current and Next-Generation Networks

•LG U+, one of the leading communications service providers in South Korea, has deployed an integrated solution using Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management and Oracle Communications Network Integrity to model, discover and manage its existing 3G and planned 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network.
•Deployed in less than six months, the integrated solution enables LG U+ to automatically discover network equipment configurations, manage them using a standards-based network resource management system, and ensure ongoing network data accuracy.
•The solution will enable LG U+ to effectively meet new 4G LTE network requirements including 4G network modelling, support for integrated IP/Ethernet/Optical technologies, and hybrid 3G/4G network environments.
•Both Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management and Oracle Communications Network Integrity are based on the TM Forum's Information Framework (SID), which provides a unified, standards-based reference data model.
