Michael Jenkins promoted to Business Analyst for Drake Software’s Web Development Department

Michael Jenkins, a 10-year Drake Software veteran, was recently promoted to the position of Business Analyst for the company’s Web Development Department, according to Jami Gibson, the department’s director.

Jenkins joined Drake in 2001 while still in college at Western Carolina University, where he earned a BSBA degree in Business Computer Information Systems with a focus in management. Following five years in customer service and support, he was named director of Drake’s Customer Relationship Management Team (CRMT).

In his new position, Jenkins will manage relationships, analyze needs and develop product specifications for the company’s growing list of major 1040.com and Web 1040 customers. Jenkins also will continue to work closely with his previous customers and their CRMT account managers.

“With his strong customer service background and extensive technical knowledge, Michael brings the ideal combination of skills to this new position,” said Brian Stork, vice president of application development at Drake Software. “He knows how a tax office runs and thoroughly understands how our customers use Drake Software when interacting with their own customers.”

Jenkins said he’s excited about his new position and is looking forward to the new opportunities and challenges it presents.

“I’m going to get to build even stronger relationships with our customers and also take a more active role in discovering and solving their challenges,” said Jenkins. “We want to ensure everything goes smoothly for our customers from the moment taxpayers walk through their doors until they leave with paperwork in hand.”

Jenkins said that regardless of job title, his ultimate responsibility remains the same, to ensure complete satisfaction for Drake Software’s valued customers.
