ftwilliam.com announces the release of its Batch 55Autofill feature

March 3, 2010, Milwaukee, WI – ftwilliam.com, an innovative employee benefits software provider, announced today the release of two new time-saving improvements to its industry-leading Form 5500 software: Batch 55Autofill and batch set-up of portal users.

Batch 55Autofill allows customers to batch import the most recent year Form 5500 data from the DOL database into the current year’s forms for all clients at one time. New customers simply provide a list of EINs for all of the Form 5500s they prepare to ftwilliam.com and the 5500 data will be down-loaded to the new customer’s account, including schedule information. The service is provided to all customers free of charge.

In addition to Batch 55Autofill, ftwilliam.com customers may now download a list of signer information from the prior year forms (including email information and signer type). Users will likely find this download useful to upload ‘portal user’ information into their account for the current year - another new feature in the software. Prior to the release of this upload feature, customers needed to manually enter the name of the form's signer or other portal user, their username and password and also their email. The software now allows customers to upload this data all at once from a spreadsheet for all 5500 ‘signers’ or portal users.

The company is also working on several more features to be launched within the next few months. Some of those features include improved electronic DFVC filings back to 1988, the ability to store client signing credentials in the web-portal, and automatic emails that will be sent to the Form 5500 preparer informing them that the filing has been signed by the client and submitted to the DOL.
