Acumatica Expands Distribution to Southeast Asia
Acumatica signs partnerships with local providers to offer web-based accounting, ERP, CRM in Asia. Horwath HTL, a provider of hospitality services in Singapore, becomes first Asian customer.
BETHESDA, Md., July 14, 2009 Acumatica, a provider of web-based business management software, today announced affiliate and partnership agreements with firms in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brunei, Philippines, and Hong Kong. These partnerships will localize and distribute Acumatica in several Asian markets.
“Acumatica’s customization and localization capabilities simplified the decision to go global,” said Ezequiel Steiner, CEO of Acumatica. “The software was built to run companies with complex international accounting, tax, and business process requirements, and several partners have already customized the software for their local market.”
Value added resellers such as SWsoft Consulting Pte Ltd., PT. Inti Data Utama, PT. Logix System Technology, PT. Onehub Solution, Technosoft Consulting, and Solomon Software Ltd. have already started selling Acumatica’s web-based accounting, ERP, and CRM applications. Acumatica was recently named one of the coolest emerging companies by CRN’s Channelweb.
“Acumatica’s localization features made it easy for us to meet the tax, language, and accounting needs of the Indonesian market,” said Fredy Tandiary, Managing Director of Acumatica Indonesia. “We have already enrolled several VARs who have started selling this solution to their clients and reported that the technology has been well received.”
Acumatica includes features such as multi-byte language support, flexible screen design, customizable reporting, and flexible account codes which are critical for delivering a solution to the Asian market.
