Atlanta, GA –May 19, 2009— Sage North America announced today the general availability of Peachtree by Sage – Quantum 2010, which introduces exceptional improvements in product performance and scalability. Peachtree Quantum offers the simplicity of an integrated accounting solution, with unrivalled performance and unmatched capacity in its class: twice as fast for transaction saves and report generation than its nearest competitor, and with this release, capacity for up to 40 named users1.

My Dashboard: Each user can create their own personalized dashboard to help cut through clutter and access only the things they do on a regular basis, customizing screens, tabs and filtering to see what they want, when they want it.
Order Process Workflow: To improve daily efficiency, the Order Process Workflow keeps track of all moving parts of the order process so nothing gets missed and everything moves along as planned, all in one centralized location to track status.

Multi-User Management: Enables easier system management, by allowing the administrator to send notifications to other users if/when they need to log out, and log them out if necessary.


Understanding business performance relative to peers - where it stands and where opportunities exist - is also more critical than ever. The Peachtree 2010 family of products features Business Analytics, powered by iLumen2, that enables small businesses to benchmark their own performance compared with others in their industry, and other small businesses overall.

The Peachtree Business Care Plan5 is also included with product purchase. With this plan, companies receive one year of unlimited6 access to high-level support specialists for both Peachtree Quantum and Microsoft Excel7, and access to product updates and upgrades for 12 months from the date of purchase. The Peachtree Business Care Plan also includes an array of training options, including self-study guides and online training, both live and recorded. The Peachtree Business Care Plan is unique at the small business level, and something typically only available with more expensive mid-market solutions.

1. Multi User licenses available in of packs of 10, 15, 20, 30, or 40. A maximum of 40 licensed, named users is allowed. Only the first 40 named users selected in the user maintenance screen are considered licensed, named users.

2. Internet access required. Service is embedded within Peachtree 2010, however is also available for Peachtree 2008 and 2009 products via a separate application download from www.peachtree.com.

3.When opening more than one company performance is not impacted; however, you will experience reduced product functionality in those companies opened after the first one.

4. There is a maximum of 20 ship to addresses and 1 billing address per customer. Only 2 contacts per customer can be synced with Outlook.

5. The Peachtree Business Care Plan (which includes product upgrades, updates, and customer support) will be renewed automatically each year on the anniversary date of your purchase unless you terminate your agreement prior to that date. Renewal is not required to continued access to product updates for supported versions.

6. Support Specialists are available from 8:30 am until 8:30 pm ET Monday-Friday, and reserve the right to limit calls to 1 hour or 1 incident.

7. Sage will assist with the management of Peachtree data in Microsoft Excel 2002, 2003 and 2007.
