Latest Release of Tabs3 and PracticeMaster Offers Output to Excel, New Reports and Toolbars
Version 15.2 adds output to Excel, new client reports, and popular toolbar plug-ins
Today Software Technology, Inc. (STI), announced the release of Version 15.2 of its popular billing, practice management and financial software products. With this release, users can enjoy the flexibility of outputting any report to a Microsoft Excel file. Version 15.2 of Tabs3 also includes a new Top Client Report and PracticeMaster includes a new Client Inactivity Report, giving users even greater insight into client productivity and profitability. PracticeMaster has new toolbar plug-in features that allow users to create and edit documents in Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Adobe Acrobat software, including the ability to create journal, calendar, fee, and document management records. “We are excited to offer many new and improved features in Version 15.2 that will appeal strongly to both prospective and existing users,” said Dan Berlin, President of Software Technology, Inc. “We are particularly pleased with the added flexibility and support that Tabs3 and PracticeMaster Version 15.2 have with widely-used office software from Microsoft and Adobe. In addition to the output to Excel capability, users can now select and copy records from any list in Tabs3 and PracticeMaster and paste the contents into other programs, such as Excel and Word. The new Top Client Report lets users view top clients or matters based on their preferred criteria from over 25 different indicators including work-in-process, billed and paid information, write offs, and more. Tabs3 also added the ability to generate batches of statements as individual PDF files. Additionally, PracticeMaster Version 15.2 has a powerful new feature that finds and/or replaces text in one or more records of a file.
The new Client Inactivity Report in PracticeMaster Version 15.2 lets users easily identify clients and cases with no activity in a specified time frame. This report helps prevent cases from falling through the cracks and lets users easily see cases that should be marked inactive. Word, Excel, and Acrobat software toolbar plug-ins let users create and edit documents in these programs and save them as PracticeMaster document management records. Users can also create journal, calendar, and fee records from documents in Word, Excel, Acrobat and Reader, and have fee records automatically synchronize to Tabs3 for billing purposes.
