Tabs3 Billing Software Now Offers Credit Card Processing
Accepted by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council
Software Technology, Inc., (STI) announced today that its newly released Tabs3 Credit Card Authorization Module has been reviewed and accepted by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC). As of March 10, 2009, Tabs3 is the only legal billing application included on the Security Standards Council’s List of Validated Payment Applications. The Tabs3 Credit Card Authorization Module is now available for all Tabs3 Version 15 users. Tabs3 clients can also receive special negotiated rates, as low as 1.42%, from First National Merchant Solutions.
“Security is an important part of the reliability that we are known for, which is why we put such effort and expense into this Payment Card Industry process,” said Dan Berlin, President of Software Technology, Inc. “In these tough economic times, we also made sure that our clients would receive outstanding rates when accepting credit cards. We negotiated special, low rates for Tabs3 users. They can receive discount rates as low as 1.42% for transactions where the card is swiped and rates as low as 1.93% for transactions when the information is typed in. This makes it worthwhile for existing Tabs3 users to consider switching merchant accounts to save money on their processing fees,” added Berlin.
Tabs3 is working with First National Merchant Solutions (FNMS), one of the largest payment processors in the United States with over 50 years of credit card experience, to provide merchant accounts to Tabs3 users. Firms can now process Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, American Express®, and Diners Club® payments from their clients using the Credit Card Authorization Module available in Version 15 of Tabs3. Firms can have these payments from their FNMS merchant account deposited directly into their existing bank accounts. And like Tabs3, FNMS has an outstanding non-outsourced, internal support team.
The Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council is focused on the ongoing development, enhancement, storage, dissemination and implementation of security standards for account data protection. The organization was founded by American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa, Inc.
