When inputting a NY W2 for a NJ resident, the income will not appear on line 14 of NJ, nor will the Sch A be completed correctly. The "quick fix" of double entering the NJ wages on the W2 worksheet (input the NY wages per the W2 and then re-enter the wages using NJ as the state) also does not allow the Sch A for NJ (Credit to Other Jurisdictions) to correctly calculate. ProSeries was notified of this on 1/29/05 and it was escalated to their next level.
