You should be able to just copy the entire Accpac programs and data folder from your old computer to the new one without reinstalling - assuming that this is a stand-alone machine and not a networked machine - if the new computer is running Windows 7 you will have issues since the DOS version was not built for this newer OS -you should really consider going to a windows program - in my opinion, the three best alternatives are: Adagio or Sage Simply Accounting or Sage Accpac ERP - all of these have conversion programs that can take your Accpac Plus DOS data and history into the Windows world - if you would like more info on these, please feel free to contact me at stevesakoff@paradimeinc.com
